Hello! My name is Nike Metcalf (he/they)! I am a Graphic Designer & Illustrator who is looking to bridge my love for fashion and Graphic Design! I typically try to look to history for my designs as just like fashion, design is doomed to repeat itself in very similar ways. Many people wonder why I didn’t do either a minor in Fashion Design or just work in Fashion Design fully. The reason I did, Graphic Design is because my love for the Visual Arts really was in my life before my love for fashion! Also my annoyance at poor design is way larger than my love for fashion. I really think I could really understand the issues in Graphic Design easier than the whole host of specifically ethical issues in the fashion industry.
